Rooms and Rates

Peaceful Cottage  & Café du Mont is a mountain resort for backpackers with basic facilities. There are a total of 13 rooms in the resort. All are attached with bathroom and hot & cold water. The 7 rooms are mountain faced rooms with an attached bathroom whereas 5 rooms are garden faced rooms with an attached bathroom and hot & cold water.

 There are two types of Rooms. Economic pine trees facing room and another standard rooms. All the rooms are attached with bathroom and hot water.  Standard rooms are comfortable with spectacular views from the room.

Mountain facing Room =  50 $ per Night including all service charges and taxes














360 degree view Room
This is a big room with an impressive 360 degree view, a fireplace, an attached bathroom and a king size bed. This room can also be used for family and can accomodate upto 6 people. Extra mattress will be provided in family and friends. The Room Rate is 40 USD per Night.

Hiking from Nagarkot to Changu Narayan temple - UNESCO World Heritage Site Temple

Nagarkot to Changu Narayan Temple Hiking Trail This hiking route is one of the most popular hiking route around the kathmandu valley. It is a very beautiful hike to see both culture+nature. The first part of the trail passes through the traditional mountain villages, terraced farmlands with local settlements and the another half way passes through the pine forests with occassional valley views on the south side before the temple premises of Changu Narayan, one of the 7 World Heritage Sites in Kathmandu valley. It is a 15 kms walk (4 hr) with an altitude drop of around 450 metres and we arrive in a Changu Narayan temple.
